Lars Ingelmark
Born 1949. Chairman of the Board of Scandinavian Life Science Venture. Ingelmark holds a Bachelors Degree in Medicine at the University of Göteborg.

Ingelmark started his career in Ciba-Geigy Läkemedel AB 1974, when he joined the sales department. During his years with the company he was among other positions, head of the Medical Development and the Marketing Department. He left 1985 when he was head of Division Pharma. 1985 Ingelmark joined Janssen Pharmaceutical AB as President for Sweden and Norway.

1987 Ingelmark accepted a position with Kabi-Vitrum AB (later Pharmacia) as Executive Vice President and head of the Pharmaceutical Division. After the merger with Pharmacia 1990, and later Farm Italia Carlio Erba and Upjohn, Ingelmark, as Senior Vice President, was heading various divisions, developed the Asian Region, chaired the Nordic and also later European Regions. Ingelmark left Pharmacia UpJohn 1998 when he was Senior Vice President and head of Corporate Projects.

Ingelmark was for many years chairman of the Swedish Pharmaceutical Industry Association.

1998 Ingelmark founded the Life Science group of the Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund, which he is currently heading.

Ingelmark has spent 25 years in the international pharmaceutical world heading and chairing companies in the US, Asia and Europe and has thus an extensive experience from the pharmaceutical industry and a wast network.

Ingelmark is the chairman of Scandinavian Life Science Venture, Cefar Medical AB, Gyttorp Cartridge Company AB and the Swedish Wetland Fund. He is presently a member of the board of BioInvent International AB, Karo Bio AB, A Carlsson Research AB among others. He has been on the board of the following listed companies: Nobel Biocare AB, Biora AB and Capio AB.
